Isis Journal
The True Story About One
RAcaseal's Journey to Engage in
Organic Obliteration
|
| ENTRY 5 : Wardrobe |
Replacement : Necessary action
was needed to be taken after recent body shell was discovered
to be defective about one month ago. Apparently, shell
had tendency to group actions together. That could be
dangerous when terminating functions. Decided to get
out while still could before principal memory storage possibly
is lost. Now in new shell, though not noticeable to
most personnel.
Exception : Hunter's
Guild Members are immediately aware of change. Essentially,
new shell has factory configurations. So, not primed
for combat. Nothing training cannot correct, and Ragol
is perfect for that.
After Long Time :
Can use Flame Visit again. Is average weapon in the
long run, but impressive nonetheless. Slow, but powerful.
There is also some "amusement" to be found with
a small and "cute" android carrying a large weapon.
Good for morale.
Benefactor : Having
fits. Put new body on corporate account.

| ENTRY 1 : Introduction |
Name
: Isis
Model :
Mk. X - RAcaseal
Section ID
: Skyly
Manufacturer
: Mark Robotic Industries, Inc.
Benefactor
: Decided that journal should be written for
further mental/"emotional" development.
Agreed to do so as it goes under contract made.
Beginning
: Originally produced to aid in assisting Newman
daycare facility, Genesis Center. Children
required constant attention, especially since the
maturation rate is generally two years. Was
reasoned that an android would be able to
consistently keep up better and thus was leased
out.
Error :
Occurred in personality algorithms by unknown
cause three years later. Code became 84.31%
corrupted and had to be shut down. Linguistic
skills were also affected, so currently
communicating either by machine code or MRI
QwikSpeak™. Pronouns and contractions tend
to be omitted because of this. Without
preprogrammed personality, daycare became
undesirable and left to attain citizenship which
was easily gained. Androids are in constant
demand for employment but was considered too
short and too "young" for most
positions.
Employment
: Hunter's Guild's encouragement of independency
was significant enough reason to register and was
then able to learn how to fire various firearms.
Encountered benefactor at that point who helped
with initial funds and purchased Recharge Station
for personal use. Benefactor was assigned as part
of Pioneer 2 crew and ended up coming along.
Unit Model
: Currently use Mk. X shell, though had used two
others in the past. First was Mk. IX, but
purchased Mk. X since it was taller. Realised
that made for larger target and bought another Mk.
X with the original's minute proportions.
Ragol
: Amount of opposition on the surface of the planet has been
highly beneficial. Can afford just about anything from scavenging
since Pioneer 1 was well supplied. Wholesale slaughter of
aggressive creatures is also very liberating. Will discuss
more in future.

| ENTRY 2: Survival |
Ragol
: Infested with hostile enemies for 3/4 of year.
Natural foilage has claimed much of Central Dome
and is greatest danger zone above the surface.
Stronger native species come out when night
begins to fall. Rumors of evil entity have
proven true before own optics, and countless
hunters have wandered down to battle it.
Results
: All same. While successful in
eliminating the immediate threat and reviving
fallen allies, Guild has failed to end the crisis
completely. Same be said for 'Dark Falz'.
Battled this strange dimensional entity several
times along with countless others and have
succeeded consistently in causing to retreat.
However they all return, much like cockroaches,
holding claim to their territory. In fact,
members of Scientific Counsel have declared that
monsters' "souls" are attracted to and
feed on photon residue of weapons even when
physical bodies are harmed. For enemies, it
is easy to regenerate themselves or rise again
from soil. That is what scientists claim.
Pioneer 2
: Investure of Ragol is too critical to abandon.
Emergency probes have shown little promise of
alternate destination to emigrate. Food is
less problem than could have been because Pioneer
2 came well supplied. Also, Hunters have
been hired lately for hunting and gathering
missions. Ragol's fruits and Booma meat
have become crucial and lucrative markets. Nanodragon tounge has become
popular entre' much to benefactor's displeasure.
Basic supplies have been rationed among general
populace and stricter recycling methods are being
reenforced. Main decks of spacecraft is
meant to last 5000 years but cannot wait that
long. Population will eventually grow
larger than this artificial metropolis.
Since Pioneer 2 Armed Forces are useless,
Hunter's Guild will have to go even further into
and beyond underground ruins.

| ENTRY 3: Residence |
| Observation
: Majority of hunters do not actually live on
Pioneer 2. Most transport to Hunter's Deck
from smaller convoy ships named after classic
mythological figures. Which would be fine
except that there are no decks for private
quarters. Most are square halls and arenas.
Fortunately, ships are highly staffed or
automated. So, remain clean, sanitary, and
well supplied. Yet, inconvenience of
sleeping on metallic floorplates have resulted in
many complaints from sentient organisms. Personally
: "Sleep" standing up.
Problem
: Rests on fact that Pioneer 2 is filled to
capacity at 30,000 citizens. Stated before,
there is little room for growth. Some
solutions have resulted in converting cargo decks
and maintenance bays into apartment housing.
Since regular space was given freely by goverment-general,
those willing to take makeshift residences are
actually compensated for their cooperation.
Project
: Technically successful as many androids have
taken interest in such areas. Not only does
such apartments give nearby access to direct
terminals and maintenance, but androids do not
worry about decks with less shielded background
radiation as humans or newmans would. In
fact, have placed personal stasis pod and various
effects in one such apartment.

| ENTRY 4: Courier |
| Coincidence
: Couple of days back, old acquaintance nearly
tripped on top of self. Apparently
acquaintance, Madoka Pistol, is working as
courier for one of smaller finance companies on
board. Neither recognized other until cards
were exchanged. Shock :
Was Madoka's response. Both had gone
through many changes. Current body shell
and behavior was more "intimidating"
than before was noted. Not surprising, as
had babysat Madoka three years ago when was just
toddler.
Correct
: Madoka Pistol is newman. Naturally, ears
give away that fact. Surprised to find notorious
crybaby when younger being part of emigration
mission. Madoka waved one hand back and
forth to that, and said that was so long ago.
Chose not to remind her how short that "long
ago" was.
Parted Ways
: Madoka seemed pleased to see someone known
before joining Pioneer Project. Suppose
would feel the same....if were possible to "feel"
anything anymore. Nevertheless, may contact
again now that have Madoka's card.
